Patrick Giesbrecht
DollarMakers Director
for Western Canada

Patrick has been an entrepreneur at heart since his earliest memories but moved into an auto body mechanics career after school on the advice from family that he needed a trade to fall back on. In 2000 he tentatively ventured forth into the business world and his life was profoundly changed. It wasn’t long before Patrick realized that one of the biggest thrills he got from being in business was building relationships with suppliers, potential clients and colleagues. And while the first business failed spectacularly in what he describes as “a blaze of glory” he realized that a whole new world had opened up for him.

In April 2004 he started Pacific North Advertising Ltd, a direct advertising solutions provider, built around a product called Doorknob Ads. This company won a Business Excellence award for New Business of the Year in Abbotsford in 2005. Patrick sold the advertising component of his business in the spring of 2007 and now lives off of the income he receives from a number of joint ventures. He is also a professional real estate investor and owns a number of rental properties.

While involved in the advertising business Patrick began seeing the power of joint ventures. He started using them in his business to create more income using less of his own money. In 2007 he attended a Dollarmakers Joint Venture Bootcamp and replaced his monthly earned income with joint venture income within 7 months using the strategies taught by Robin Elliott; leaving him financially free to move on to build new businesses. His passion, as the Dollarmakers Director for Western Canada, is to help other individuals to achieve financial freedom using the power of joint ventures.

Patrick was born and still lives in the Vancouver region of British Columbia with his wife Ellie, and two sons; Parker and Nash. He is a director of the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce as well as a director of British Columbia MLA Michael deJong’s riding association. Patrick has been involved in civic and regional politics for the last 9 years. He enjoys family time, snow boarding, music, and community involvement.
